So i'm in town for work for a couple of days and decide to take a walk around the area. I came upon this place and went in to see what they had. Well as the name suggest FISH, I asked the women behind the counter what she recommended and agreed to it. I had the fish and chips with a smeared peas, wasn't sure about the peas until I tried them. The fish was cooked perfectly, moist and flavorful. Not what I'm used to due to being from the Metro Phoenix area and have had over battered fish. This batter was lite and just thick enough to have a crunch but not so thick that you were just eating fried batter. The smeared peas are different and I can only say they tasted great, not what I thought they would taste like. You need to be aware that if you order something on the take out menu, which was a very good price you won't be able to eat it there. Something to do with customers eating in have paid the difference and you did order the item to go. I witnessed this and asked after the people had left and was told this was more common in the area and people are aware of it but still try to eat the items that are "to go" as if they paid the difference. Price with a drink was 8 lbs and it was plenty of fish and chips.

you can either take away or eat in. the food is quite good. the people who work there seem really friendly. it is quite small and only has a few tables but it is a nice little set up.
